Your control
Sending us a letter should not cost you your privacy
The documents people send us are personal: money worries, housing, tax, family circumstances. That deserves proper care, written down plainly rather than buried in a policy nobody reads.
It is your document, always
You own the letter and everything we produce from it. You can download it, delete it, or walk away and take it with you.
Never sold, never shared
Your documents and answers are never sold, rented, or passed to marketing lists, lead generators, brokers or debt firms.
Protected in transit and at rest
Everything travels over an encrypted connection and is stored encrypted. Access is limited to what is needed to produce your assessment.
Deleted when you say
Delete a case at any time and the document goes with it. Otherwise cases are removed automatically after 90 days.
No hidden charges
The first assessment is free. Sort This For Me is £9.99 for one document, shown in £ GBP before you commit. If the assessment shows nothing needs sorting, we tell you so and we don't ask you to pay. No subscription, no auto-renewal.
Honest about our limits
We tell you plainly when something needs a solicitor, an ombudsman, Citizens Advice or Shelter — and we never pretend to be them.
What we do and do not use your document for
We do
- Read it to produce your assessment and reply
- Keep it available to you while your case is open
- Store it encrypted, in the UK or the EU
- Delete it on request, or after 90 days
We do not
- Sell, rent or share it with third parties
- Contact the sender of your letter without your say-so
- Use it to advertise products to you
- Require an account, a credit check or a subscription
Your rights under UK GDPR
These are not favours — they are legal rights, and exercising them is free.
- See what we hold
- Ask for a copy of everything associated with your case and we will provide it.
- Correct it
- If a detail we extracted from your letter is wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
- Have it erased
- Ask for your case and document to be deleted and it will be, permanently.
- Take it with you
- Download your assessment and reply as a PDF whenever you want, for your own records.
- Object or restrict
- Tell us to stop using your information for anything beyond helping with your case.
- Complain
- You can complain to us and to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK.
Nothing happens without you
TidyWhisk never contacts a council, supplier, landlord or HMRC on your behalf. We hand you a letter you can read, change and send yourself — so you always know exactly what has been said in your name.
